Birthday Party!

We had a great time on Saturday. Family, and 2 friends, joined us to celebrate the second birthday of B & S. The boys enjoyed their cupcakes, again. But this time they were a different flavor and the icing was different (and also much better). Elmo was the theme, as they just love Elmo. Originally they were both wearing their firetruck shirt, but you will see that B found a much better shirt to wear. S had one too, but he was so excited about his new firetruck toy that he didn't seem to care about his attire.


You will also notice the boys have on new shoes. They've got 5 pairs of shoes right now. That's the most they have ever had, probably combined. But you know, they are growing out of their Sunday shoes, they have some shoes that are good to play in the dirt, some light up firetruck shoes from Grandmother B, and my parents got them 2 pairs of sandles (which have plenty of growth room), mainly because one pair was on super-sale. The most exciting thing to S about these new shoes, is that he can put them on himself. He loves that.


And Aunt K came to visit for the weekend. B was in heaven. Both boys had a great time with their Aunt and with "Tuck", her dog named Tucker. They learned that dogs eat dogfood. A new word!

Oh, one more thing. They had their 2yr checkup on Friday. S weighed in at 29lbs, 35inches tall, and B was 34lbs and also 35inches tall. The doctor said they were healthy!
