Friends, our computer is in the shop.
In Sept of 2000, I bought a new computer. A Gateway laptop. Last year it began to enter retirement, and so we bought a new computer in June of 2007. Yesterday that hard drive died.
The old, 8 year old computer is still going strong, yet the 1 year old computer is sick. I do not understand.
We have taken the new computer into the shop, and are being realistically optimistic. In the meantime, we're working off the 8 year old computer. So my posts may be limited this week.
Hopefully I'll be back soon with new pictures and stories. The good news is that I did backup my pictures recently, so hopefully I didn't lose any of those.
