Well our weekend was a good one. No one got locked out. That, in itself, is enough to warrant a party.
Husband's sister came to visit. Aunt K. B just loved his Aunt K. Actually, all he can say is the "k" sound, but that was enough for auntie. Aunt K had to do everything for little B: change his diaper, help with his bath, play with his toys, read him a book, hold his hand. And, she has a dog! The boys just love dogs. So, since we have a fenced in backyard, she brought Tucker the dog. We have a sliding glass door (which you all know about) and the dog could be seen clearly from that door. So the boys would congregate in front of that door to look at "gah", which is B's word for dog. We think he's repeating the ending sound.
S loved his aunt as well, but B was just overcome with auntie joy.
Our church had a yard sale, and I bought a bald hobby-horse. I finally brought it in yesterday afternoon. S immediately jumped on and began riding. B can actually say "hor", but S isn't there yet. The horse seems to have cancer; his tail is falling out. In clumps! I've got to get the vacuum out and clean up behind him.
I've got some big sewing to get done this week. Easter is in less than 2 weeks, and between now and then we have 3 egg hunts. That's some serious pressure for cute mommy-made outfits. So everyone have a great day, and I'll be back again this week with updates and pictures.
