First Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday was the boys' first Easter Egg Hunt! And it was so exciting! S really got into it. He had a basket FULL of eggs. B wanted to open each egg to get out the box of raisins, and didn't really care about putting eggs into his basket. But they had fun. And we had a luncheon after the egg hunt. Husband was busy talking to someone, and didn't notice S eating all of his potato chips AND his chocolate cookie! I look over and S is chowing down. Great. He's discovered chocolate. He really won't eat real food now.

Still finishing up Easter sewing. It takes a long time since I'm chasing after short people while trying to smock. But tonight it should be finished. Hooray!

There are still 2 more egg hunts we are to attend before Sunday. Whew! That's a lot of candy/raisins. (I'm the evil mommy who doesn't allow her children to eat candy. One day, just not now. They're too little.)

Tomorrow at Bible Study the children are supposed to sing. They're always so cute, marching in to the tune of "In the Lord's Army". Mine, of course, can't sing, but they know some of the hand motions. Especially "This Little Light of Mine." That is a favorite of B. He loves to hold his light up high!

Must get back to the sewing. Hope you all have a fantastic day!

Notice the rabbit in B's pocket. That was one of the items in his egg. And you can see he doesn't care about the eggs, only the boxes of raisins.
