In ode to that, today we will have Prayers of the Preschoolers. We have begun praying each morning on the way to preschool or Bible study if it's Wednesday. Every day they pray for something different. Below are a few from the past week.
- Please help Grandma Cox feel better because she has a lot of boo-boos. (translation: My mother tripped and fell on her driveway when they were moving out of the old house. She was bruised but nothing broken.)
- Please help Helen's tummy be good and help her molars not hurt. (Helen has an ear infection and the medicine makes her stomach unsettled, and she has 2 molars coming in at once. This all makes her very fussy.)
- Seth was thankful that next week he will have a boy day with Granddaddy Cox. There will be no Helen, no mommy, and no Grandma. (there will be a Ben)
- Seth was thankful for food and clothes. Then he proceeded to name every piece of clothing he was thankful for; socks, shirts, shoes, underwear.....
- Please be with Grandmother and Granddaddy B. They have no one to live with them. (I guess the boys think my in-laws are lonely now that they have an "empty nest." I don't think they are though.)
Happy St. Paddy's day!
