Time is marching right along. We are in the throws of kindergarten; boys are learning to read, tie shoes, even spell a little bit. Santa left two new bikes under the tree and an indoor basketball goal, and the boys have really enjoyed those things. The basketball goal is the plastic kind with the adjustable height. We had a smaller one but now that they are growing so tall we needed to upgrade. Hubs got busy after Christmas and cleaned out their room, riding it of broken toys, Happy Meal toys, and "baby toys", making room for new things. Their current favorite things are basketball, bike riding on the (neighborhood) road!, and Batman. My mom got them some costumes and they love dressing up like various super heros.
Not to be left out, our little Priss has turned 2. Her vocabulary is huge and she amazes us with all her new phrases. Mickey Mouse is still a big fav, but she has recently begun to enjoy Little Einsteins, as well as her dollhouse and Little People that can fit into her dollhouse.
We are also working on potty training with her, with limited success. But she's interested so we keep trying.
And personally, I've been sewing sewing sewing lately! Helen's 2yr portrait will be done this week and I'm also working on a dress for me. The latter is exciting because I never sew for me. Let's hope it turns out okay!
