Look at me! 2 posts in one month!!
We are getting ready for Christmas. As the boys told me, after watching The Grinch Stole Christmas, the holiday comes anyway!
Our tree has been procured and is up and decorated. That's a story in itself. We were late getting it because husband was out of town; then they finally went to get it and the ones at Lowe's were "sad" according to Ben, and the local plant nursery was closed. Then it rained for 2 straight days! Finally they came home with one. We made hot chocolate (home made!), listened to Christmas music, watched The Grinch, decorated. It was lovely.
Then the tree fell down. As in, it crashed, beheading an angel ornament in it's path. Fortunately none of our ornaments are "fine", so a little super glue will fix said angel. But we got it straight and all is well.
Today we are going to our church to make ginger bread houses (I'll try to post pictures), and I'm doing some super secret knitting (for the husband!) in the early mornings by the lit Christmas tree.
