Our July 4th

We spent our 4th at the water. What a beautiful day we had! We started off the day with a boat ride. Our normal sandbar/beach was covered with campers and their tents, so we ventured out for new territory. What we found was a beautiful sandbar that had shallow water and was perfect for boys! After a nap, we ended our day with a picnic supper with the extended family and watched fireworks on the pier. It was a great day!


Seth really enjoyed playing with this mud. He put it all over his arm and leg.





Above is Ben after lunch. He was exhausted, and shortly after this we headed home.

Ben rides with Grandmother and helps Granddaddy drive the boat. Ben is the mate, while Granddaddy is the captain.

Seth was riding beside his daddy, until daddy had to help get the boat into the dock. Doesn't he look so big all by himself!
