Hello Internet-World

Hi everyone! This is the first entry of my new blog. I am creating this to keep everyone (who is interested) updated on my two boys. Instead of me sending out numerous emails, I can just post some info here and you can tune in if/when you want.

So what have B & S done lately? Well, B is starting to walk. He takes short jaunts, and is excited about it because he smiles when he walks. S has learned to crawl onto things. When we go to hubby's grandparents' house, S loves to crawl up on the couch and sit beside his great-granddaddy. We took them to play in the water last week, and it is their new favorite activity! We are hoping to go again tomorrow. Both B & S ate sand. It must not be very tasty because they didn't go back for seconds.

This morning we went out for breakfast. We have taken them to restaurants before, but never this particular one. It is one of our favorites. The last time we went was the Saturday before I delivered (which was Monday morning at 8:24 and 8:26am). They had a great time. We ordered them a pancake off the menu. (Usually I just bring their food.) B & S thought they were big. They wore their big-boy shoes. The ladies who work there were so nice to the boys. I held B up to let him watch the ladies cook, he liked it.

After our most yummy breakfast (thanks to a sister-in-law for our gift certificate!) we wanted to go to the local thrift-shop to see if they had a used baby gate. You see, we have the MOST WONDERFUL thrift shop here. They really do have good stuff, and we always try to check for things there before we buy a new one. I did find a baby gate. It's a little wobbly, but it was only $5. But before we got there, we had to kill about 40 minutes. (this is due to the fact that sweet B & S woke up at 5:51am today, and so we had an early breakfast and the local thrift-shop does not open before 9am). So we just walked around with the boys in the double stroller. B fell asleep early on, but S held out until the very end. They both had cat naps this morning.

We have had a most exciting day, and it's only 2:30pm! They are napping, as is dear hubby. Mommy is going to start smocking their outfits for an upcoming family wedding. Yes, I am running WAY behind, but we won't talk about that.
